Anne Conkling will discuss History According to the Ladies, including the social, spiritual, domestic and legal aspects of life for women in Colonial Virginia.

Anne Conkling is a local historian, public speaker, tour guide,and Lecturer for the Rhoads Scholar program.  She is a long time member of Bruton Parish who has been very involved in the community.  She  recently completed a Bruton Parish project beautifully produced by WHRO.  It is available online through EVA for education for Virginia teachers who need access to historical details.
